By accessing, reading, or using the website and services provided by Velrina s.r.o. (hereinafter “the Company”) through the AstroKore project, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and any additional terms referenced on specific web pages. 1. Services Provided

The AstroKore project, operated by Velrina s.r.o., offers the following services via electronic communications (e.g., website, email):

  • Daily insights into current astrological transits.
  • Personalized natal chart descriptions.
  • Solar return chart descriptions.
  • Personalized daily insights.

These services are intended for personal, non-commercial use by individuals interested in astrology.

2. Usage Limitations

The services and data provided by AstroKore are for private, individual use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the services or data without prior written consent from the Company. Any such consent may be revoked at the Company’s discretion.

3. Reliability of Information

The information and services provided by AstroKore are for entertainment and informational purposes only. You assume full responsibility for your use of the website and services. The Company and its employees make no express or implied warranties, representations, or endorsements regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, opinions, advice, or services provided. The Company shall not be liable for any costs or damages, whether direct or indirect, arising from your use of the website or services. It is your sole responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of all content provided.

4. Data Protection

The AstroKore project is hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure. Their legal documentation, including their data protection policy, is available at: https://www.digitalocean.com/legal.

4.1. Collection of Personal Data

To provide our services, we may collect personal data, including:

  • For creating a personal horoscope: Time, date, and place of birth; current place of residence; and at least one first name (which may be a pseudonym).
  • For registered user profiles: Email address, password, title, name, time, date, and place of birth, and current place of residence.

Personal data is collected only with your explicit consent, which you provide by submitting your information. You will be prompted to confirm the transmission of your data when required (e.g., during horoscope creation, user registration, or product purchases).

4.2. Purpose of Data Processing

Your personal data is used for the following purposes:

  • To generate and deliver personalized astrological services, such as horoscopes and chart descriptions.
  • To create and manage your registered user profile for your convenience, allowing you to access services without repeatedly entering data.
  • To activate or deliver purchased products.
  • To ensure secure access to your chart data and personal horoscope.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases per the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Your data is stored securely on DigitalOcean’s infrastructure, which complies with industry-standard security measures. We do not store sensitive payment information; payments are processed by third-party providers compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

4.5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in these Terms or as required by law. For registered users, data is retained until you request deletion of your account. Horoscope-related data is retained for the duration of service delivery unless otherwise requested.

4.6. Your Data Protection Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

6. Payments

Payments for AstroKore services are processed securely by third-party payment providers compliant with EU regulations. We do not store sensitive payment information. Pricing and payment terms will be clearly displayed before purchase, in line with EU consumer protection laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, data, and materials provided by AstroKore, including text, charts, and designs, are the intellectual property of Velrina s.r.o. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify these materials without written permission.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law to bring proceedings in your home country.
